Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Human Performance Infrastructure ("we") collects when you visit hpi.city, how we use it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible: this is an informational website, not an account-based service.
Information We Collect
Information you send us directly. If you use the data room request on this site, what you enter is sent to FindBusiness, which runs this site, and passed to us so we can respond. Likewise, if you email us at npetrescu@hpi.city, we receive whatever you choose to share (such as your name, contact details, and the content of your message) so we can respond.
AI assistant conversations. If you use the on-site assistant, the messages you type are processed to generate a reply (see “The AI Assistant” below). Your conversation is also stored locally in your own browser so it persists between visits; you can clear it any time by clearing your browser storage.
Usage and device data. We use analytics to understand how visitors use the site (for example pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and referring links). This is collected through cookies and similar identifiers.
Technical logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard request data (such as IP address, timestamp, and requested page) for security and reliability.
How We Use Information
We use the information above to respond to your inquiries, operate and secure the site, understand and improve how the site is used, and provide the AI assistant. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
The AI Assistant
The on-site assistant answers questions about Human Performance Infrastructure. The messages you type are sent to Google Vertex AI to generate a response. Please do not enter confidential, sensitive, or personal information you would not want processed by a third-party AI service.
The assistant is automated and may be inaccurate. Its responses are for general information only and are not professional, financial, legal, or consulting advice. For advice specific to your situation, contact us directly.
Data Retention
We keep messages you send us for as long as needed to respond to you and to keep records of our correspondence. Analytics data is retained according to our analytics provider’s settings. Any assistant conversation stored in your browser stays there until you clear it.
Your Choices and Rights
You can email us at npetrescu@hpi.city to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to request deletion of information you have sent us. You can manage cookies in your browser and opt out of analytics as described above.
California Privacy Rights
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the CPRA, gives you the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to access a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To make a request, email us at npetrescu@hpi.city. We will verify your request using the information you provide before we act on it, and we will respond within the timeframes the law requires. You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
Children’s Privacy
This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the effective date above.
